You’ve made it, welcome to my blog!

My name is Aaron, and I’m a young adult who loves to write about my life and faith, and this blog is my place to store any and every thought I need to get out there! Topics I might write about include: My Faith, Music, Video Games, Why Corgis Are The Superior Dog Breed, Why God’s Love Is or Isn’t Reckless, Sloppy Wet (unforeseen?) Kisses, and so many more! (but really just the first three.)

What to expect from this blog:

Absolutely nothing can be expected from this blog except that I will write my thoughts down in these posts. You can check the archives and see how spread apart the posts are throughout the year. I could post weekly for five weeks, or post every 5 months, you never know. If you want some idea of what the posts are about, I generally write about my faith and what I’m learning from the bible and the small group studies I attend, but I also plan to write more posts reviewing games and talking about what I like/dislike, and occasionally about music that I’m really passionate about. I hope you enjoy these posts though, whatever they may be!

Some things to know about me:

First and most importantly, I am a Christian who believes in God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, and that Jesus died on a cross to save the sinners of the world from their sin, and that he rose again and conquered death. He did that because He loves us, but also to invite sinners like me to repent and be in a relationship with Him. Any and all glory goes to God for giving me breath to breathe every day and for giving me a passion for writing. Everything you read here is only here because of God.

Secondly, I’m a video game fan. Some of my favorite games of all time include Portal 1 and 2, Hollow Knight, Rainbow Six Siege, and Alien: Isolation. Those are all very different games, but all very good games! I started playing on Xbox when I was around 11, and started playing FPS games (Specifically entries in the Call of Duty and Halo franchises.) Now, as a young adult, I can’t stand either of those games, and prefer Rainbow Six Siege as the superior FPS game. But I’ve also explored different genres through solo games, Hollow Knight (a metroidvania) being the best solo game I’ve ever played.

And finally, I love music. There are tons of artists and songs I could reccommend and list here, but I’ll summarize it: Favorite Genres: Pop, Rock, CCM, Folk/Folk Pop, and Funk/Soul Pop. Yes, Funk/Soul Pop. One day I listened to a song by Lawrence and those genres just resonated with me. Favorite Artists: Switchfoot (Christian Alternative Rock), Lawrence (Soul/Pop/Funk), Kings Kaleidoscope (Christian Alternative/Indie Rock), and Jon Bellion (A Genre Defying Legend). Favorite Songs: Gone by Switchfoot, Probably Up by Lawrence, A Prayer by Kings Kaleidoscope, and Stupid Deep by Jon Bellion.
